Our history

Today's VEDRA Pensions arose from an extraordinary opportunity that our founders seized in 2016.

VEDRA Pensions of today was born from a unique opportunity seized by our founders in 2016. At the time, the former owner, telent UK, approached the VEDRA founders' family office, offering the chance to acquire a company without current operations from the storied AEG Telefunken Nachrichtentechnik (ANT) - an opportunity they boldly embraced.

At the time, this company was facing significant challenges: unresolved tax issues, ongoing tax audits, suspended pension increases and past investments losses weighing on its equity. These difficulties matched the expertise of founder Christian Petersmann, a ‘special situations’ expert with a proven track record of tackling complex cases.

Through clear vision, expertise, and dedication, the team stabilized the company, positioned it for future success, and restored the pensioners' confidence. Nearly a decade later, this pivotal acquisition serves as an inspiration for the innovative development of the German pension buy-out market.

The fact that we, once industry outsiders, are now recognized as pioneers in pension risk transfer continues to inspire us every day. 4) Our selection process

Once we have received your complete application, what happens next? If we feel that there is a good fit between you and our team, we will usually start with a telephone interview to get to know each other better. Our main aim here is to bring your application to life, get to know your (professional) experience and understand your motivation. During this interview, you will also have the opportunity to ask us any questions you may have had while reading the advertisement or preparing for the interview..

5) Interview

If we like what we hear on the phone, we will usually invite you for a personal interview.

6) Contract offer

If all the interviews are positive and we feel that we are a good match, you will receive an attractive contract offer in good time.

Corporate Finance Analyst/Origination (m/w/d)

Als Teil unseres Teams übernehmen Sie eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Analyse von Unternehmensdaten, der Begleitung von Übernahmeprojekten und der Mitgestaltung der strategischen Ausrichtung unseres Unternehmens.
